
Starting today we will be working with WERS at Emerson College to open the studio doors to allow Boston-area musicians to come in and record songs of hope for our city. It is our belief that music is power and has the capacity to bring optimism in the darkest of situations. With that in mind, we are working with a wide rang of Boston musicians to create the Boston Music Project Mix CD that will help bring hope back into our city.
Songs recorded in these sessions over the next two weeks will be compiled into a mix CD that will be sold online to raise funds for onefundboston.org. But, our hope is that everyone will listen to the tracks recorded and remember that it’s also important we take care of our individual well being - mentally and physically. Music can be an aid in tough situations - we hope these songs can bring positive vibes to its listeners.
We are working to set up a page where the CD can be pre-ordered and downloaded, but, in the meantime here is how you can help:
